Fresh Spring Home Decor Ideas
Hello friends and happy spring! It’s been a little while since I’ve shared here on the blog but it’s good to be back and I’m excited to share my Fresh Spring Home Decor Ideas with you. I’m joining some blogger friends who are also sharing their spring decor ideas today too, so be sure to visit them all at the end of this post.
Welcome to my spring home! I feel like my decorating style has slowly been evolving over the past year and I’m feeling so good about where things are at. It all started with my Classic Blue and White Summer Home Tour from last year. I absolutely fell in love with blue and white, chinoiserie patterns and ginger jars. I adore it’s coastal classic charm and I hope you do too!
I added thoughtfully place soft blue touches throughout the living room.
I changed out my pillows (an easy seasonal switch that will update your home instantly!), freshened up the mantel, and added some new books and a fresh candle to the coffee table.
I’ve slowly been adding more vintage/thrifted decor to my home and I love how it creates such a unique and personalized feel. The brass candlesticks and ginger jars are all thrifted finds.
Another favourite vintage piece is this Dollie Bunnykins Playtime figurine that was my husband’s Grandmother’s. I love bringing it out at Easter.
My dining room shelves got an update for spring too. I kept some things the same like my milk glass collection, and added more blue and white touches and a bunny planter. Let’s talk Easter decor for a moment: I used to like a lot of Easter touches but have settled more on keeping it simple and subtle. That way once Easter is over, it can easily be removed and doesn’t feel like something is missing. If you love going all out on Easter decor then absolutely go for it! You can always incorporate some early summer touches into your home if it feels a bit sparse after you say goodbye to the bunnies.
I love updating my bedding for spring! Here’s a little sneak peek of my spring master bedroom refresh. I added three larger pillows across (our bed is a king) and this gorgeous soft blue bolster pillow which I absolutely adore. I finished with this waffle weave natural throw that adds just the right amount of texture to my all white bedding.
We’ve had a rather wet and chilly spring here in Vancouver and we are just starting to think about spring yard cleanup and gardening now. I was lucky to find some white hydrangeas for the front porch. It makes me excited for warmer weather and spring and summer gardening!
I hope you’ve found some inspiration here with my Fresh Spring Home Decor Ideas. I’ll be sharing more of my spring bedroom refresh, a new addition in my entryway (can you guess what it is?!?) and a heavenly muffin recipe all later this spring. Now it’s time to see more spring decor ideas from my friends below.
