Fresh and Floral Spring Table

Spring is almost here and what better way to welcome a new season than with a fresh new tablescape! Today I’m joining some blogger friends for a spring table blog hop, and we’ve got some lovely ideas in store for you! I’m sharing my Fresh and Floral Spring Table.  It has a neutral base, delicate touches of pink and green and all the floral feels!

I wanted this table to be fresh, delicate and floral just like spring itself. I began with a neutral cotton table runner and layered these natural maize placemats over top.  Love how their shape mimics the rays of the sun or petals of a flower.

White ceramic dinnerware at each place setting has a rustic, handmade feel that is both perfect for casual or more formal entertaining. The napkins are actually tea towels but I love the generous size and durability of using them this way.  The light green stripe adds a touch of color and whimsy to the table. 

A marble flower napkin ring and gold cutlery finish off the look.

Did you notice something different in here?!?  The china cabinet that was on this wall was storing mostly things I didn’t even use, so these floating shelves are the perfect update! Now I have a bright, beautiful place to display some of my favorite things. I’ll be sharing more of this space during my spring home tour in a couple of weeks! These beautiful blooms are the perfect finishing touch on my Fresh and Floral Spring Table! It reminds me that spring flowers will be popping up in the garden and the trees very soon.  The floral theme is definitely going strong in here!
