Simple and Pretty Easter Decorating Ideas
We’re enjoying our second week of my son’s March break and even though we usually travel somewhere warm at this time of year, we’ve been finding ways to enjoy this beautiful season in our own backyard. It’s almost Easter which means it’s time to bring out the bunnies, am I right?!? Decorating for Easter is easy if you think about adding a few thoughtfully placed items to your spring decor with my Simple and Pretty Easter Decorating Ideas. If you’re still looking for ways to add a touch of spring to your home, check out my Fresh and Neutral Spring Decorating Ideas
I added this sweet bunny to the coffee table and he fits right in! For easy Easter decor, keep it subtle and choose items that already blend well with your spring decor. After Easter is over, take away the bunnies and your decor will still look great!
To create this look, I used green speckled eggs and DIY’d the cream “plaster eggs”. To create the “plaster”, I mixed acrylic paint and baking powder and painted eggs from the dollar store. You can do this with any eggs you already have on hand and match your own spring colour palette.
This natural wicker bird’s nest looks pretty next to my potted spring plant in milk glass. I added some natural faux eggs I already had on hand but you could also DIY your own eggs in any colour!
I love incorporating special family items into my decor. This Royal Doulton Bunnykins figurine was my husband’s Grandmother’s, and I look forward to displaying it every Easter.
Even if we’re not entertaining in our homes this Easter, I still love setting a pretty table with some sweet treats! I love the casual look of this stripe table runner.
