When I created this simple DIY Faux Bloom Spring Garland a couple of months ago, I had no idea I would be sharing it during such uncertain times. With Easter this weekend I know it’s not going to look like the usual celebration for many of us, but I hope you make it special and meaningful even in the smallest way and know that we are in this together and better together when it comes to fighting this pandemic. The good news about my DIY Faux Bloom Spring Garland is, it’s so super simple you can probably pull it off with a few supplies you already have on hand! I’m joining some blogger friends today who are also sharing their spring garlands and banners, so be sure to visit them all listed at the end of this post.
- Faux bloom stems of your choice (I used tulips as shown)
- Glue gun
- Measure and cut your ribbon for your space.
- Pinch off individual blooms from faux bloom stems
- Hot glue each bloom to the backside of ribbon, approximately 2 inches apart.
- That’s it your done, hang your garland!
This garland is so easy to make! If you have a stash of faux blooms in your basement or craft room, you can create this simple look in minutes using faux tulips. Ranunculus, lily of the valley, or daises would also work really well!
I love how this garland turned out and how it looks on my mantle. You could also hang it on a headboard, bookshelf or windowsill.
