Decorating my front door for fall is my favorite! There is just something about pumpkins, fall mums, and the changing season of summer to fall that I really adore. Honestly, after painting my front door early in the summer, I was already envisioning how pumpkins were going to look out here. Our front entrance is not actually that big, but by treating it like a small porch, I think it gives the appearance of it being more substantial. Excited to share my Easy Fall Front Door Decorating Ideas for Your Home and joining 19 friends for the Seasonal Simplicity Fall Series today. Make sure to visit everyone sharing their ideas and inspiration for your fall outdoor spaces at the end of this post. Now, let me show you my front door!
My fall wreath is still looking amazing out here! If you missed my Dried Floral Fall Wreath DIY be sure to check it out! This wreath is so versatile and can be used indoors as well. A cute fall doormat is always fun and festive and faux pumpkins are great for early fall decor if they aren’t available just yet. You can just add the real ones into the mix or replace the faux ones altogether.
Fall plants like kale are a beautiful addition to your front door!
Remember when I said I treat this space like a small porch? Adding a bench or a chair to your front door helps to define the space but is also practical for removing shoes. A talented local friend actually lent me this bench and will be making me my own very soon, so stay tuned! Bushel baskets with mums and outdoor lanterns are great additions to your fall front door too.
Cozy pillows soften the look of your bench and give you the opportunity to sneak in a few fall-themed decor items. I mean, who can resist cute fall pillows?!?
