Basket Door Wreath 4 Ways
When you attend a spring styling workshop led by amazingly talented photographer and stylist Tracey Ayton, and the swag bag is actually a beautiful hanging basket filled with goodies, you can’t stop thinking about all the lovely things you could do with it! Since you all know flowers are my jam, it seemed the perfect place to start. Of course I couldn’t decide on just one look, so I’m bringing you my Basket Door Wreath 4 Ways!
This red and white look is perfect for Canada Day or 4th of July celebrations. Add a flag or colourful ribbon to make it extra festive as you welcome guests!
For this sweet look I used faux blooms and added a pretty satin ribbon. You can use pretty much any faux blooms or greenery you have on hand to create this easy look in minutes!
You knew the peonies were coming right?!? It’s actually very simple to add fresh cut flowers to this basket. Since the bottom is flat, just add a vase of water inside and arrange your flowers. Voilà!! With peony season coming to an end, I’m already dreaming of filling it with hydrangeas and dahlias!!
I embellished this look with a chalkboard tag from the dollar store that is perfect for adding your own personal note or greeting. It can be easily customized for any season or occasion!
The last look of my Basket Door Wreath 4 Ways is simply baby’s breath from the grocery store. I love how delicate it is and how it feels like the country to me. I added this garden stake for some extra interest.
Can’t wait to fill this pretty basket with more flowers this summer! Hope I’ve given you some ideas to try your own basket door wreath. To see how I created a similar look last spring with tulips, check out my Spring Door Decor DIY
Wishing you a Happy Canada Day and 4th of July!
