Modern Minimal Summer Table
A friend recently asked me if I have my dining room table set all the time? The answer is YES!! Ok, maybe not all the time, but for me, having my dining table set is just like making my bed or going to bed with a clean kitchen: when things are in their place and look pretty, I feel relaxed. I enjoy creating a new table that will look great all season long! Confession: this is my simplest tablescape ever and I’m absolutely loving it!! My Modern Minimal Summer Table is very relaxed and fresh with just a touch of drama.
Modern minimal summer table: LINENS
You’ve have seen this light grey linen-look table cloth before and it’s become one of my favourites. I love it’s casual feel especially since my furniture is quite formal in here. The napkins were bought separately but have a very similar look and so they go together nicely. Don’t worry if your linens aren’t a perfect set, it’s always fun to mix colour tones and texture for a more interesting look!
Modern minimal Dinnerware/flatware
This stylish dinnerware and flatware from Fable is modern, elegant and effortless. I love the quality and chic restaurant vibe it brings to my table. My meals even look prettier on these plates and I’m not kidding! They’re perfect for summer patio dining too.
modern minimal Summer table: floral arrangement
In keeping with the modern minimal vibe, I used a simple arrangement of eucalyptus coins. They’re so simple and fresh and pair well with other greens I have in the dining and living room. Plus, they’re long lasting and a great budget friendly option!
Modern minimal summer table: candles
These black vessel candles from Vancouver Candle Co.’s Discovery Collection add the perfect dramatic touch to my table! The luxurious scents are perfect for summer evenings indoors or out.
So what do you think of my Modern Minimal Summer Table?!? It sure was fun to try something new using pieces I love! To see how I decorated my table last year, check out my Summer Decorating Faves.
I love the minimalist look too it’s clean and fresh. I agree with nice table settings the food tastes better for instance when I serve dinner to guests using my chinaware the food seems to stay warmer longer and is tasty.
I like the greens you use with the whites. Thumbs up 👍
