Cozy Fall Kitchen Ideas to Add Warmth to Your Home
There’s just something about the end of summer and fall approaching that makes me want to spend more time in the kitchen. I start craving comfort foods like roast vegetables and soups and baking everything pumpkin and spice! Originally I thought we might be in the middle of a kitchen reno this fall, but we’ve decided to wait until January so that we’re not too rushed to finish in time for Christmas. This means the small updates I’ve made in here recently (like my DIY Painted Tile Backsplash ) are going to have to last a little longer. Today I’m sharing my Cozy Fall Kitchen Ideas to Add Warmth to Your Home and I’m joining some talented friends who are also sharing their fall kitchens so be sure to visit everyone on the tour below!
Add wood touches
I switched up my barstools in here for fall and I’m loving the warmth and texture the wooden seats add. What do you think of them? More on these yummy muffins later!
This cute farmers market wooden box is perfect with some fall plants or flowers on a windowsill or shelf and could also be used for storing cutlery or spices. Small details like soap in a seasonal scent and a single mini pumpkin create a real fall vibe.
Burn a seasonal candle
I love a good fall candle! It’s a great time to switch out your lighter summer scents for something richer like pumpkin, apple, or sandalwood. They provide instant fall goodness whether you’re helping the kids with homework, prepping dinner, or on cleanup duty.
Create a cute coffee station
Create a fall-themed coffee, tea or hot chocolate station. Start with a simple tray, then add mugs, fresh or faux flowers, a festive sign, and a tea towel or napkins. Easy peasy and so super cute!
Decorate with fruit
Apples, pears, and plums are all in season right now and they are too pretty to put away! Not only are they a healthy snack, but they can also double as fall decor. Stock up on your favorite fruit, grab a pretty bowl or basket, and you’ve got a beautiful display.
Bake something yummy
The aroma of pumpkin and spices coming from the oven is one of my favorites. There’s no better way really, to fill your home with fall goodness than with freshly baked fall treats. Perfect for cozying up and sharing. These Pumpkin Spice Streusel Muffins are coming to the blog soon so stay tuned.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my Cozy Fall Kitchen Ideas to Add Warmth to Your Home. Which ones will you be trying in your kitchen? I’m so glad you stopped by today, now be sure to visit the other blogger’s kitchens below and check back next week for my Fall Home Tour.
