Romantic Spring Home Tour
I’m so thrilled to finally share my Romantic Spring Home Tour with you! It’s full of fresh blooms and neutral, feminine touches that were perfect for celebrating Easter and Mother’s Day. In June, I’ll start adding in bits of summer decor here and there.

This post is extra special to me as all the lovely photos are from my photoshoot with I Like Her Style Vancouver, a style and soul magazine that celebrates and inspires women right here in Vancouver. My friend Brittany and I first met the magazine’s founders, Jody Belanger and Kyla Getty in October when they were celebrating the launch of their Winter issue. We had an instant connection and a friendship was formed right away! Fast forward to January of this year and their Spring Home and Garden Issue is announced and not only would they like to feature us in the magazine, they want us to be on the cover! Thus began the fun of planning and styling this Romantic Spring Home Tour. Come on in!
Nothing says welcome like a fresh, custom door mat for spring! When the warmer weather arrives, my front door space is often the first area I think to refresh. Clean up dead winter plants, power wash the concrete, add a new door mat and wreath and you’re good to go! Behind the scenes: the morning of the shoot there was still snow on the ground, it was 0 degrees celsius and I was on my front porch planting spring flowers. Yes, I did get some strange looks from my neighbours!
In the living room I kept things neutral, fresh and bright! We were so lucky to have a beautiful sunny day for this shoot.
I like to keep my mantle simple and added this faux boxwood and new print for spring. Switching up your artwork is one of the easiest things to do when the seasons change.
This juju feather pillow from my collaboration with Pillow Fight Factory is a favourite for all seasons and ties in so easily with my other decor accents.
This shoot was so much fun and involved lots of giggles, smiles and FLOWERS! You know I love decorating with flowers because they are such an easy way to add a personal touch to your decor. I’ve been loving these soft antique roses, tulips and of course peonies are in season now too!
Over in the dining room, things are ultra feminine with the soft florals, pink hues, rose wall decals and touches of gold.
This amazing naked cake was the perfect addition to my delicate table. We placed a single stem rose atop to tie it altogether. Behind the scenes: After our day of shooting, we all devoured this cake, and it was every bit as yummy as it looks!
My spring table setting is soft and delicate with different textures and layers. A splash of rosé in the glasses is an elegant touch and suits this romantic table.
These rose wall decals fit in perfectly with my spring decor and are a nice option instead of hanging a piece of art. I previously had a canvas in this space, but I’m loving the new look! Plus, you decide how to arrange the decals and how many to use for a very customized look. Also, they are removable so no long term commitment required. Behind the scenes: Brittany and I installed the wall decals the day before the shoot. Talk about cutting it close!
My upstairs landing console table has a boho vibe going on for spring and I think it might stay through the summer!
I don’t share this corner of our master bedroom very often as this bench tends to get cluttered with extra clothes. Even though we get lots of natural light in here, I love how easy this faux fiddle leaf fig is!
I’m obsessed with having fresh flowers on my nightstand! Nothing like starting and ending the day with something beautiful.
I hope you enjoyed my Romantic Spring Home Tour! I’ve rounded up all the details for your shopping convenience below.
