Valentine’s Chocolate Fondue
The sweetest day of the year is coming up and if you’re still looking for a special way to celebrate with your man, your GALentine or the whole family, I’ve got you covered with a super easy and fun Valentine’s Chocolate Fondue! The recipe is so simple and can be enjoyed as a brunch, an after school snack or a late-night treat after the kids are in bed ❤
This post is from Valentine’s Day 2017, but I’ve updated it as part of a Valentine’s blog hop with some friends. Make sure to visit all the bloggers on the tour listed below for some fabulous Valentine’s Day inspiration!
Valentine’s Chocolate Fondue Recipe:
400 g Toblerone chocolate bar
6 tbsp. whipping cream
1 tbsp. milk (if needed)
1. Melt the chocolate and cream together on low heat. Add the milk if mixture seems too thick.
2. Pour mixture into a ceramic fondue pot over a tea light. Keep an eye that it doesn’t get too hot and blow out your candle if it does.
*Note: recipe can be halved for 2 people
Dippers:
Fresh fruit: strawberries, bananas, pineapples
Marshmallows
Pretzels
Biscotti
Dried fruit
Get creative with your dippers! Just choose some of your family’s faves and it’s sure to be a hit.
I’ve paired it with rosé prosecco here, but hot chocolate would be fun with the kids and your marshmallows can do double duty.
Hope you give my Valentine’s Day Chocolate Fondue a try! Wishing you the sweetest of Valentine’s Days! ❤❤
