Beautiful Boho Summer Home Tour
Creating this summer home tour really snuck up on me. In some ways, it feels like spring went on forever in quarantine, and yet in other ways, it feels like we skipped over it completely. Either way, combined with the fact that we’ve had a very wet and dreary June here in Vancouver, it hasn’t really felt like summer over here at all. Today I’m excited to be back joining some blogger friends for the Seasonal Simplicity Summer Tour Series this week. Whether it’s your first time here, you’re joining me from Cassie Bustamante and her beautiful home or you’ve visited before, welcome! I’m also extra excited to show you how I’ve gone in a slightly new direction with my decor! I’ve incorporated a subtle boho theme throughout that I hope you will love every bit as much as I do! So come on in, let me show you around my Beautiful Boho Summer Home Tour!
If you’ve been following along on my IG stories you probably saw that I was choosing colors to update my front door. This has been such a long time coming and I FINALLY feel like my front door is a reflection of both my aesthetic and what guests can expect to see inside my home. Full reveal coming very soon to the blog, I promise!!
As you walk inside and through the foyer, my living room is decorated in soft pinks and neutrals for summer.
What do you think of these new oversize prints on my mantle? I really wanted something that would make a bold statement in here and I love the pink and gold tones so much. In fact, they were my inspiration and starting point for the whole tour! The pink marble candlesticks and whimsical plant pot on either side finish off the look.
A few boho-inspired cushions add interest and texture on the sofa and the black decor on the coffee table adds a moody contrast to the delicate flowers and lighter accent pieces.
This side table has lots of texture going on including these delicate bunny tails in this stunning vase and cotton knotted feather, both finds from a charming local shop.
What would a boho home tour be without pampas grass?!? Honestly, I just don’t think there’s anything prettier than these plumes!
Looking into the dining room and I spy a stunning arrangement of beautiful summer blooms!
A loose arrangement from a favorite flower shop, including peonies, roses, and eucalyptus in a textured vase adds the perfect boho vibe to my dining table.
Now let’s take a peek in the kitchen!
If you were following along during quarantine you probably saw that I gave my kitchen a little refresh which included painting the backsplash tile and kitchen island white. I also recently added these washable runner rugs in here and I’m loving how they complete this fresh new look!
Time to take this Beautiful Boho Summer Home Tour upstairs to the master bedroom.
For a different look, I borrowed this bench from our entryway and I love how it fits right in, especially with this handwoven Parisian market bag full of peonies. Our bed got extra cozy with the addition of a new duvet cover, as well as these beautiful pillows and a throw. I love the feeling of a light and airy bedroom for summer!
My bedside table also got a fresh look for summer with some new books, a pretty candle, and more fresh blooms.
This little corner also has a new look with a macrame hanging that I picked up from a favorite small shop on the coast. The watercolor print you may remember from my spring home tour. Can you guess if this potted fig is real or faux?!?
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed my tour and found some ideas for adding some boho accents to your own home this summer. Hello and thank you Debra! The prints are from Opposite Wall 🙂
Beautiful! Please, where is the beautiful white vase holding the pampas from?
Hi Evelyn, sadly I got it from Pier1 right before they closed. I would check Homesense/HomeGoods, I often see ones similar there 🙂
I would love to know the wall color you used in the living room by the fireplace. Beautiful home!
Thank you so much Nasreen! It’s Cloud White by Benjamin Moore.
