Light and Neutral Spring Mantle
I always get so excited for a new season and spring is one of my favorites! Today, as part of the Seasonal Simplicity Spring Series, we’re sharing our spring mantles and vignettes. So many beautiful spring spaces, so make sure to visit everyone on the tour listed at the end of this post. Deciding how I’m going to decorate my mantle is one of the first things I think about as it’s such a focal point in our living room. If you saw my Fresh and Floral Spring Table last week, you’ll notice that I’m carrying over a very similar feel to my mantle. Some items on my mantle remain static and others I switch out as the season changes. Excited to share my Light and Neutral Spring Mantle and how you can easily recreate a similar look in your home!
I wanted this spring mantle to be light, neutral and fresh which is the overall theme to my spring decor this year. We’ve had a very grey, rainy winter here in Vancouver and I think I’m just craving things light and bright. You’ll notice the pillar candle holders from previous mantles, but I added a collection of pretty pink vases next to them for spring.
Grouping similar items together, but in different sizes and textures, will give your mantle a cohesive but interesting look. Here’s a little sneak peek of a sweet garland DIY I’ll be sharing a little later this spring! A simple DIY is a great way to add a personal touch to your seasonal decor. Over on the other end of the mantle, I filled this neutral vase with a single pink tulip. I love the simplicity of a single bloom!
These light wooden frames are a new addition and so is the lovely botanical watercolor art. Their delicate shape and soft green color are a perfect fit for my spring mantle. Switching out artwork is one of the easiest ways to update your home for a new season. Stay tuned to see where I’ve styled the third print in my home on my upcoming home tour next week!
You can see a few more of my spring touches sprinkled throughout the living room here. Excited to show you how I carried this same theme to my upstairs landing and master bedroom next week!
Thanks for stopping by today, hope you enjoyed my Light and Neutral Spring Mantle. Now tell me, what will you be adding to your spring mantle? Tomorrow I’ve got a spring dessert for you that looks fancy but is a total cinch to prepare!!
