Elegant and Charming Holiday Table
Only 3 days until Christmas! Are you hosting this year and is your table set? If you’re looking for some last minute table inspiration, I know you’re going to love my Elegant and Charming Holiday Table. Usually my table settings start with one or two items that are the jumping off point and this year it all started with a tablecloth. I saw this lovely block print tablecloth at a local shop before Canadian Thanksgiving in the fall and knew it would be perfect for my holiday table! I love it’s heavier-weight fabric and the blue and green block print which became the base of my table. Setting a beautiful table is all about the layers and I’m excited to share all the pretty details of my holiday table with you!

I could have added placemats or chargers under each table setting but honestly I was so in love with the block print on the tablecloth I didn’t want to cover it up hehe. I did however layer a dinner plate and salad/dessert plate with a complimentary wreath design. I love how all the details of each plate come together so beautifully.

Let’s talk about the gold accents. Gold cutlery, gold bells and these unexpected cordless table lamps all add a bit of luxury to the table.

Okay, these cordless table lamps are everything!! I purchased them in the summer for an outdoor tablescape. The wonderful thing about them is you can move them around and put them anywhere indoors or out (except in the rain obvs). I also placed one in my kitchen in the fall and found that it was the perfect amount of soft light for early mornings as I was making coffee. This exact lamp is sold out right now but I’ve linked some similar cordless table lamps that will probably arrive in time for Christmas. I added them on a whim to my Elegant and Charming Holiday Table and they instantly elevated it!

Another way to elevate your holiday table? Splurge on a floral arrangement like this one if you can or create your own with grocery store bunches. I always use fresh florals if I’m entertaining as they just feel more elegant, especially at Christmas.

Here’s a look at the buffet in the dining room styled for the holidays. If you have a spot like this, add some festive touches and it will be all ready to double as a drink or food serving station if needed.
