Sweet Valentine’s Day Ideas
Today I’m sharing some Sweet Valentine’s Day Ideas and excited to be joining some of my blogger friends for a fun Valentine’s Day blog hop! Be sure to visit everyone on the tour at the end of this post for more fabulous ideas and DIY’s!
I thought it would be fun to style my buffet for Valentine’s day using a mix of things I already had on hand, a few new purchases and some yummy sweet treats. The LOVE balloon is from a couple of years ago and so are the faux branches and heart print. The heart ornaments are actually recycled Christmas decor. The rose wall decals in the reflection on the opposite wall, are the prefect romantic touch for the season!
I added this round wooden tray for a new look in here. It’s the perfect place to set plates and cutlery for serving. Cute, inexpensive signs like this LOVE YOU arrow (a new find) and heart print are a fun way to add some seasonal whimsy. Adding a feminine floral arrangement like this one is so pretty for Valentine’s Day and I love the spring hyacinth and tulips.
Try hanging heart ornaments on branches for a different look! I used these faux cherry blossom branches, but you could use any kind of branches or stems to create a custom look.
What would Valentine’s Day be without some sweet and yummy treats?!? A pink rosette cake is so pretty displayed like this. Even if you don’t bake it yourself (a dear friend made this one), display it on a decorative cake stand to really make it pop!
Classic heart cutout cookies are always a good choice! They’re nice to have on hand for guests and also perfect for gifting.
I hope you enjoyed how I styled my buffet and my Sweet Valentine’s Day Ideas! If you’re looking for an easy DIY Valentine’s card idea, check out my Easy Watercolour Valentine’s Cards
