Holiday Home Tour – Part 2
Can you believe it’s less than two weeks till the big day?!? 😱 I’m back with a few of my talented blogger friends to bring you Part 2 of our Holiday Home Tour. I’m so glad you’re here and excited to share what I’ve added in the past couple of weeks!
The biggest addition in the master bedroom is this pretty pencil tree from Michaels . Honestly, I never thought of having a tree in the bedroom before. I actually purchased it for the family room but it wasn’t quite right. Since I loved it so much, it ended up in here and I love how it turned out! Pencil trees look great tucked in beside a dresser or bookcase and are a great solution for smaller spaces 🙌🏻
I also added this fabulous personalized print from Jibe Prints 😍 They have so many styles to choose from and were amazing to work with! Great customer service and fast delivery too. And from now till Dec. 31st, my friends at Jibe Prints are offering 40% off all personalized orders when you use the code LIFEISBETTERATHOME 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Over at our sitting/dressing area I added more neutral touches in keeping with my Winter Wonderland theme. What I love about this decor is that it will still look great into January and February. This pillow from Porter Lane Home is the perfect sweet touch don’t ya think?!? Amazing quality and so many cute styles to choose from. You’ll want to order more than one! Norfolk pines are one of my faves and a simple addition that look great just about anywhere.
Moving into the living room,we finally got our tree and garland this week. I think it’s just about the latest we’ve ever been! This is also my first year doing fresh garland and I’m really loving it so far.
Garland is from my favourite garden centre Art Knapp. They cut it to fit my railing and it was super easy to hang using zip ties. The ribbon is from Ikea’s winter collection. It came in a pack of three and I used all three to create this look.
So you might remember from Part 1 that I was trying to convince my family to put a faux flocked tree in the living room this year. In the end they just didn’t want to break with tradition and you know what…neither did I. We always get real trees, my husband and I were brought up on them and our kids love the tradition as much as we do. I would describe our tree as eclectic. It’s a mix of old and and new ornaments, nothing matches but that’s ok because each and every ornament has a special meaning.
Did you happen to notice I like filling milk glass with pine cones and ornaments?!? It’s quick AND stylish and a super easy way to add holiday touches throughout your home.
Here’s a view looking into the dining room. I’ll be sharing my Christmas tablescape with you next week, but for now, here’s a little sneak peek.
Thanks for stopping by, love sharing my home with you!! Head on over to the rest of the homes on the tour for more fabulous Christmas decor inspiration:
