A Warm and Welcoming White Christmas
Welcome to my 2025 Christmas Home Tour: A Warm and Welcoming White Christmas. I’m excited to share a different look for this year! The past couple of years I’ve really leaned into the rich tones of brown and copper but this year I wanted things to look entirely different. To much debate, Pantone just revealed their 2026 colour of the year is Cloud Dancer (basically, white). As a neutral loving decorator I’m obviously thrilled, but in case you were skeptical about white being cold or boring please read on as I show you it’s anything but! My 2025 Christmas is warm, elegant and nostalgic: white included.

Welcome, come on in! Yes there is lots of white in my home. I love the neutral and calming backdrop it provides, especially at Christmas! White and blue has become my year-round colour palette and so at Christmas I like to choose accents that complement that scheme rather than having to change everything up. This year I leaned into white accents and touch of gold and blue to complement the look and add depth so that the white doesn’t fall flat.

In the entryway I layered shades of white with festive accents on the cabinet and a cute pillow on the bench. I like to be intentional with my seasonal decor so that instead of taking over, it complements and adds festive charm. Speaking of festive charm, I added two Balsam Fir pre-lit garlands to the staircase. Simple cream ribbon adds a sweet touch.

This year’s tree is a 7.5ft Balsam Fir and has a very realistic shape and branches. I used a variety of all-white ornaments including these cream velvet bows and I love the touch of blue in these sparke houses that light up.

My mantel is a bit small and set in and honestly a bit of a challenge to decorate at Christmas. I like to use a simple garland that’s not too heavy and keep the decor minimal so as to not overcrowd things. These white velvet stockings are my go to and the white taper candles add a touch of classic elegance. The brass french horn was a thrifted find from last year I’ve been waiting to style for Christmas!

Here’s the view from the staircase before we head into the dining room and kitchen. Did you notice my new curtains? We gave the windows in here a refresh this fall, removing the old wood slat blinds and adding these elegant custom curtains. It opened up the space so much and really created and elevated feel in here. Are you feeling A Warm and Welcoming White Christmas yet?

I think this holiday table might just be my favourite yet! I spotted the colour block tablecloth at a local shop in the fall and it became the starting point of my holiday table. You are going to want these cordless lamps for your holiday table too! White and green floral arrangements are always a classic go-to made festive with Christmas greenery. More to come on my holiday table in another post.

It’s been two years since we renovated the kitchen and decorating it for Christmas is such a treat! Yes there is a lot of white hehe, but I love adding warmth through wood and rattan accents, touches of blue and using a mix of faux and fresh greenery.

Myrtle trees with bows and a tiny wreaths draped over bread boards give a vintage Christmas feel in the kitchen. I can’t wait to do some Christmas baking in here!

This view from the kitchen into the living room is one of my favourites at this time of year!

A few Christmas details from the dining room shelves. This brass bell was another thrifted find from last year and looks perfect next to this framed holiday art. To get that vintage art look, buy an inexpensive frame and search vintage holiday art on Etsy. Print it yourself and place in the frame without the glass to give it that vintage feel.

Christmas in the powder room? Absolutely!! We just completed a powder room renovation and the timing seemed perfect to add a few festive touches.
