All things cranberry
For our family, the local Cranberry Festival has become a Thanksgiving weekend tradition. It’s held in a quaint little township, which happens to be a former fur trade post of the Hudson’s Bay Company. The festival has really grown in size in the years since we started going, and this year was amazing! Of course it’s especially nice if the weather cooperates (which it did) and it makes for a lovely day of strolling through the streets filled with local artisans food and crafts.
Besides coming home with some fresh cranberries (which made a tasty sauce for turkey dinner), the Cranberry Festival also has some pretty yummy treats which we look forward to indulging in every year. Cranberry kettle corn, cranberry bratwurst, and maple taffy just to name a few 😊
So much fun, can’t wait to do it all again next year!
