Blush Pink Christmas Sideboard
Today I’m sharing my Blush Pink Christmas Sideboard and how I created a festive display in my dining room. I really enjoyed sharing my Rose Gold & Blush Christmas with you all last week. I have to confess going into the decorating process, I was a little worried it wouldn’t seem “festive” enough. I mean pink isn’t exactly a traditional Christmas colour. However, I think anything goes when it comes to decorating for the holidays. Do what makes you happy and what goes with your existing decor.

My fears of our home not being “festive” enough with all the pink this year were put to rest the other day when my husband arrived home from work. He walked in the door, looked around and said ” We sure do have a beautiful Christmas home!” My kids quickly chimed in in agreement. Be still my heart! If my husband and children can love all my pink for the holidays then I’d say mission accomplished. Now let’s check out my sideboard…
Just add faux fur
I use this table runner here for most seasons, but added this fun faux fur placemat for a wintry and glamorous look. The pink berries in the large vase add the right amount of blush pink and their gold leaves tie in nicely with my mirror. Also, I have to mention again how much I love having a Christmas tree in the dining room and it’s pretty reflection!
A sweet treat
My daughter and I both love to bake, especially during the holidays. Cupcakes are her specialty and she created these to match my Christmas theme. Displaying them on this pedestal cake stand really makes them pop!
You probably remember these stunning cookies from Hayes Sweets Bake Shop and my Christmas Home Tour last week. I can tell you they taste every bit as good as they look!! Coordinating your treats with your decor is fun and festive!
I spy a cute sign
This sign is a find from last year that tied in perfectly with my blush pink Christmas sideboard. Signs with cute Christmas quotes add a touch of whimsy to your holiday decor.
Don’t forget a cup of Christmas cheer
Treat your guests to a signature cocktail! I always like to serve a special drink when guests arrive then switch over to wine later on. If you’re hosting a large group, something that can be mixed ahead like mulled wine or sangria is a good choice. Also, you can never go wrong with a classic like rum & eggnog and don’t forget the nutmeg!
A little collection
I feel like trees of all shapes, colours and sizes have been a real trend in Christmas decor this year. From bottle brush to wood to ceramic, a collection of trees makes a lovely statement. They’re looking pretty here next to one of my favourite candles from Vancouver Candle Co.
I hope you enjoyed my Blush Pink Christmas Sideboard. I’m so excited to host family here for dinner on Christmas day! Now that my decorating is done, I’ve got some shopping and meal planning to get caught up on before the big day. Good luck with all of your Christmas preparations, you’ve got this!
wishing you a wonderful holiday from my family to yours!
